Bloomfield NJ police arrested three men who allegedly sold cocaine and heroin on a local street corner.
Bloomfield police received a report of possible drug dealing near the intersection of Dodd Street and Arch Street in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Members of the Bloomfield Police Department Rapid Response Unit were called to the scene, where they allegedly saw the three suspects loitering in the area.
The officers conducted a search of the suspects and reportedly found the men in possession of heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana. The officers allegedly seized 3 zip-lock bags of heroin, 8 zip-lock bags of cocaine, 13 foil wraps of crack cocaine, and 5 zip-lock bags of marijuana. According to police, all of the drugs had been packaged for distribution.
The officers also reportedly seized roughly $700 in cash.
The suspects were all charged with various drug offenses, including possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
After being arrested and charged, the suspects were transported to the Essex County Jail. They are each being held at the facility in lieu of $50,000 bond amounts.
According to authorities, two of the suspects are from East Orange, NJ.
