Newark NJ detectives recently arrested three men in connection with a murder committed outside a bar located in the South Ward.
The suspects include a 30-year-old Irvington man, a 37-year-old Irvington man, and a 40-year-old Newark man.
According to law enforcement officials, the suspects shot and killed the victim in the parking lot of a bar on Mulberry Street in Newark, New Jersey.
Several law enforcement agencies conducted an investigation into the homicide, including the Essex County Major Crimes Task Force and the Newark Police Department.
Detectives eventually identified the three suspects and placed them under arrest. The men have all been charged with multiple crimes, including first degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
The three suspects are currently being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark, New Jersey.
This is the 16th murder reported in Newark NJ so far this year. Around this same time last year, there had already been 26 homicides committed in Newark.
