Four suspects were recently busted on drug-related charges in Essex County, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the arrests stemmed from separate investigations in Newark and Bloomfield, NJ.
The first arrests were made in Bloomfield NJ. Essex County Sheriff’s Office detectives allegedly found two suspects in possession of a bag filled with 700 envelopes of heroin.
The suspects, a 19-year-old woman from Montclair and a 27-year-old man from Paterson, were charged with possession of heroin.
Around the same time, Essex County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a third person who was allegedly involved in a drug deal near Broadway and Delavan Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. The suspect, a 42-year-old man from Newark, was placed under arrest and charged with various drug offenses, including possession of crack cocaine.
The suspect was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon because police allegedly discovered him with multiple illegal handguns.
Police arrested a fourth individual in connection with a surveillance investigation near Fabian Place and Hawthorne Avenue in Newark NJ. The 30-year-old suspect, who lives in Newark, was allegedly caught exchanging cash for several vials of crack cocaine. He was placed under arrest and charged with possession of cocaine.
